Leadership that represents

Public services should represent the public they serve. This might sound like a play on words, but to us it's a rallying cry that points to our responsibility to act on improving diversity and inclusion in public and not-for-profit leadership. Only when our leaders are truly representative of the people they serve, can we hope to achieve equality and a society that works for everyone.

At Tile Hill, we’re working hard to lead by example. Our in-house EDI Panel is responsible for ensuring Tile Hill remains at the forefront of best practice for inclusive recruitment and is best placed, not only to advise our clients, but also to promote an inclusive culture internally.

Our EDI Panel consists of a diverse team of individuals that reflect our workforce and our passion for inclusion. By creating a representative, democratic forum, we can reduce unconscious bias wherever possible in our internal, client-focused, and candidate-focused processes.

Why it matters

In the public sector, it is vital that workforces reflect the population they are serving, helping shape society and create communities where everyone can achieve their potential. Running inclusive recruitment processes is essential for all organisations and we are incredibly passionate about the benefits that diverse workforces bring.
Inclusive recruitment gives organisations access to a wider talent pool. In turn, this leads to better decision-making through a wider set of views, lived experiences, and neurodiversity, helping to improve organisational performance. Organisations that work with us, can expect increased employee engagement, better engagement with communities, and a more positive reputation with service users and future hires.
Inclusive recruitment processes are key to achieving this and should remove barriers and allow individuals to shine at all stages of the process. At Tile Hill, we are driven to work in partnership with our clients to achieve these aims and give them access to the most diverse range of talent for their organisation.
