Job Description

We are looking for someone to support the Tile Hill team and business to thrive through the provision of database administration, using technology and digital solutions to build strong relationships with our candidates. You will play a key part in helping us develop our database and digital approach through working with team members to find better ways of providing high quality customer service to our candidates and clients.

This role is part of the Government's Kickstart Scheme. Jobs from the Kickstart Scheme are open to 16-24 year olds, who are claiming Universal Credit and are looking for a 6 month, paid work experience placement. For this role, you will be paid the London Living Wage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and managing the Tile Hill database and ensuring it enables the wider team to work effectively.

  • Inputting new and updating existing records within the database including Client, Candidate, Contact and Job information.

  • General administration support.

  • Finding and suggesting different ways to use technology, apps and digital solutions to improve how we work.

  • Drafting documents in word, excel and PowerPoint.

Person Specification:

  • You don’t need to know much about recruitment, databases or the public sector, what we are looking for is someone who can display the below attributes:

  • Good customer service skills.

  • A logical, proactive and patient approach to work.

  • Trustworthy and highly confidential when dealing with people at all levels.

  • Good IT skills i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Office 365).
