Bolton Cares is entering an exciting new chapter and we’re looking for a visionary leader to help shape it.
As our new Director of Care, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading high-quality, person-centred care across our growing group of companies in Bolton, Wigan, and Salford. You’ll be joining a dynamic Executive Team, working closely with our Chief Executive to drive innovation, excellence, and compassionate leadership across our services.
About the Role
This newly created role will provide strategic and operational leadership across all our unique care and support services. You’ll drive quality, growth, innovation and best practice, and business development initiatives to support our ambitious growth plans.
Supporting over 1,300 individuals with a team of 800+ dedicated colleagues, you’ll oversee a diverse portfolio of services including Supported Living, Extra Care, Day Opportunities and the Mental Health Crisis Hub. all aiming to deliver our mission “to support people to live the life they want, their way’.
About you
We’re seeking a strategic thinker with:
- Substantial senior leadership experience in regulated social care
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality services and outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills
- A passion for empowering people to live life their way
Experience working with local authorities and navigating political environments is desirable, but not essential.
You’ll be someone who leads by example, champions diversity and inclusion, and inspires others to thrive.
