Head of Tenant Relationships
Stroud District Council
Are you someone who puts tenants at the heart of what you do? Do you champion providing a high-quality service to make a difference for residents?
Stroud District Council strives to make a positive difference to the communities we serve and our residents are at the heart of everything we do. With over 5000 properties and as the only council in Gloucestershire that manages our own housing stock, we are now seeking a proactive and forward-thinking Head of Tenant Relationships to drive resident engagement and promote sustainable and inclusive communities.
As an innovative thinker and strategic leader, you will have the opportunity to manage a talented team at an exciting time of change and transformation.
Equipped with knowledge of legal frameworks for housing, you will have a background in tenancy management and experience of good internal and external partnership working.
You will handle the financial resources creatively to manage the council’s social housing stock, including general needs, independent living, and temporary accommodation, as well as rental income collection and antisocial behaviour. With the purpose of providing excellent customer service, you will quickly identify and address priority areas and engage residents imaginatively.
Giving you the scope to inscribe your own footprints into Stroud DC’s future success, this role requires someone who can implement new initiatives, build trusted relationships, and oversee the implementation of new systems. Ultimately, you will need to demonstrate that you have led a customer-focused, cost-effective service and possess strong collaborative skills to energise teams and achieve intended goals.
If you think you have the passion, leadership and innovation to drive our tenancy management service, we would love to hear from you.
