Our local authority client is seeking an interim Digital Project Manager. They want someone who can help them look at how digital needs to play a part in transforming how the organisation works and provides services.
They require a Project Manager who can evidence a track record of having helped bridge the gap between services and the IT team, and who can lead service transformation. The council are doing some work to review the systems they have in the organisation and, at the same time, they are also mapping processes to understand how they currently work. Both of these will provide a blueprint for what resources, systems and skills are needed in-house to move forward and then what is needed to apply this into future service design. This is a relatively long-term programme that will run until March 2021 and sits as part of a bigger programme of work to design the future council operating model.
