This role is covering 3 posts due to maternity leave, retirement and an upcoming restructure. Our client needs good practical operational skills, someone who is strategic and can drive forward their development ambitions and work with stakeholders and provide a strong and supportive management approach that can help me shape the future structure for this area and support the team through change. It means there is little management capacity within the team at a time when our client has some significant work to do, including:
- A review of older peoples housing, looking at performance, demand, quality and stakeholders views. This work is the beginning of a strategic improvement plan for these homes and will feed into their asset management plan.
- Our client are onsite with two new developments of our ‘active aging’ model one of which includes a community building that needs a business plan
- Our client’s older peoples services are delivered by two separate organisations following a merger and both have completely different structures and different ways of working. This person needs to address this and unpick some difficult service charge issues.
- There will likely be some considerable resident consultation that flows from the review work, service redesign and service charge changes.
