At Tile Hill, we love a challenge and when it involves pushing ourselves for a great cause, we’re all in. That’s why our team is taking part in the Race the Thames challenge, covering the length of the Thames through running, walking, dancing, hopping, whatever gets us to the finish line!

We’re doing this to raise vital funds for three incredible charities. 50% of the money raised will go to London Youth Rowing, an organisation dedicated to making rowing accessible to young people across London. They use sport as a tool to build confidence, resilience, and life skills, something we value deeply at Tile Hill as we support leaders in building stronger, more inclusive teams.

The remaining 50% of funds will be split between Endometriosis UK and Alzheimer’s SocietyEndometriosis UK provides crucial support, education, and advocacy for those affected by endometriosis, a condition that impacts 1 in 10 women and can have a devastating effect on physical and mental well-being. Alzheimer’s Society leads the fight against dementia, offering life-changing support for those affected, funding groundbreaking research, and working towards a world where no one faces dementia alone.

Beyond fundraising, Race the Thames is also an opportunity for our team to come together, challenge ourselves, and focus on our own physical and mental well-being. In our busy working lives, it’s easy to forget the importance of movement and exercise, not just for physical health, but for mental resilience, team bonding, and reducing stress. Whether we’re walking, running, or even dancing our way through this challenge, we’re embracing the benefits of getting active while raising money for causes that matter.

For us at Tile Hill, this challenge isn’t just about covering the distance, it’s about making an impact. We’re committed to giving back, supporting causes that matter, and coming together as a team to make a difference.

We’re entering four teams to take on this challenge, and we’d love your support! You can find the links to each of our team donation pages in the comments on this post. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps these brilliant charities continue their work.
