Director
West London Alliance
Shape the next chapter for one of the UKs most successful alliances
Covering a coherent and connected part of the capital, West London combines world-class economic assets with diverse and dynamic communities. The West London alliance is a powerful partnership between the seven boroughs that make up West London, working together to deliver more for their residents.
This collaboration has stood the test of time, consistently producing high-performing programmes valued by leaders and communities alike. From employment and health to housing, infrastructure and economic growth,
its track record speaks for itself.
The Director will be the strategic leader and chief advocate for the Alliance, setting the agenda for the next chapter while ensuring existing programmes continue to be delivered to the highest standard. We are looking for someone who can combine operational grip with political and strategic acumen, someone as comfortable scrutinising delivery performance as they are engaging ministers, business leaders, and community voices.
The Alliance has the credibility to influence policy and investment at the highest levels, and the Director will be expected to tell a compelling and coherent story of West London as a place to invest and innovate.
The Alliance is non-partisan in ethos with leaders from across the political spectrum, but the Director will havean instinctive understanding of political nuance and the ability to build consensus while keeping momentum.
The successful candidate will be a relationship builder of the highest calibre and be able to earn trust quicklywith senior elected members, chief executives and partners from across sectors.
West London is a place of possibility. It has the assets, talent, and ambition to lead the way in inclusive growth, green innovation, and creative enterprise, and the West London Alliance has the track record, relationships and mandate to make that happen. The new Director will have the rare opportunity to lead this partnership into a new era - confidently telling its story, shaping its future, and delivering for its communities.
