Interim Director of Digital, IT & Resilience

A senior leadership role driving the digital, technology and resilience agenda for a large, future‑focused local authority. You will shape strategy, lead critical corporate services and play a key part in improving outcomes for residents.
  
Key deliverables

• Lead an ambitious IT and Digital strategy and a high‑performing ICT service.
• Act as SIRO, strengthening information governance and cyber security.
• Oversee emergency planning, business continuity and flood‑risk responsibilities.
• Drive digital inclusion and digital skills development across the borough.
• Contribute to corporate leadership, transformation and cross‑partner collaboration.

  
Required experience

• Significant senior‑level leadership in Digital and IT with a record of innovation.
• Strong knowledge of digital, data, cyber security and technology best practice.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and collaborative problem‑solving, with the ability to simplify complex issues.
• Financial and commercial acumen with experience managing sizeable budgets.
