Interim Head of Complex Care and Continuing Health Care (CHC)
A local authority is seeking an experienced interim professional to provide specialist support across Continuing Healthcare (CHC), Children's Continuing Care (CCC), complex care and commissioning activity, with a particular focus on children's services.
This role will work alongside senior leaders to support discussions and negotiations with Integrated Care Board (ICB) colleagues, challenge funding decisions where appropriate and help the authority navigate complex funding arrangements. There is also a broader piece of work relating to complex placements, joint funding arrangements and commissioning activity across both children's and adults' services.
The ideal candidate will bring significant experience of CHC, complex care and commissioning, alongside a strong understanding of how ICBs and NHS commissioning functions operate. Previous experience within an ICB, NHS, or CCG would be highly advantageous, as would experience of working across children's or adults services, and complex placement arrangements.
