Interim Head of Legal (DMO)

We are supporting a local authority in the South of England with the appointment of an Interim Head of Legal Services (Deputy Monitoring Officer). This is a business‑as‑usual position providing cover while the council undertakes a longer‑term recruitment process. The successful candidate will need previous experience as a Head of Legal or Deputy Monitoring Officer within a local authority, as they will be leading and supporting a small legal team.
