George Chubb

Associate Consultant

“I believe that connecting the right people with the right roles strengthens communities and transforms lives.”

George joined Tile Hill as an Associate Consultant, bringing a unique blend of experience and passion to the team. With a first-class degree in Politics and International Relations, George has a strong academic foundation, complemented by awards for his research and public speaking. His deep interest in global politics, particularly in the Middle East and China, drives his commitment to understanding how parliamentary decisions directly impact communities.

Before joining Tile Hill, George gained valuable experience working with Ellingham Employment Services, a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Collaborating with councils across Essex and London, he developed a keen understanding of the importance of matching the right person to the right role and saw firsthand the transformative effect this can have on communities.

George is passionate about public sector recruitment, especially within local government. He values working with individuals who prioritise community and public service over profit and is excited to help enhance councils' capabilities by connecting them with ideal candidates through Tile Hill’s exceptional search process. For George, this work is not just about filling roles, it’s about strengthening communities and transforming lives.

As he embarks on his recruitment journey, George appreciates the welcoming and collaborative culture at Tile Hill, where relationships are at the heart of everything they do. He looks forward to building strong connections with clients and candidates as he supports the company's growth and influence within the local government sector.

George loves traveling the world, attending festivals, and spending time with the people who matter most to him. An adventurer at heart, he once solo hiked Ecuador’s Chimborazo to an impressive 16,800 feet—the closest point on Earth to the stars due to the planet’s equatorial bulge. For a fun challenge, George can identify every national flag with ease!
