Get to know: Nik Shah, Senior Consultant

Get to know one of our newest team members, Nik Shah, who is a Senior Consultant in our Interim Management practice:​

What is your background?

I have over 8 years’ experience in public sector interim management and executive search. Initially working with iPeople, I grew their interim management and executive search practice across Children, Adults and Education services, becoming a leading provider of interim managers and social care staff to the sector. I then went on to join Odgers Interim, where I specialised in senior interim appointments across Children and Adult services.

Why did you decide to join Tile Hill?

I had been quietly admiring Tile Hill’s rapid growth in the sector and was hearing more and more good things about them from candidates and clients. After having an informal conversation with Anthony and David, it was clear how they had grown so quickly and were building something different in the industry with a strong focus on customer experience. After joining and meeting the wider team at Tile Hill, I am excited to have the opportunity to be part of their growth and working with such a committed and talented team.

Tell us more about your role at Tile Hill?

I will be working closely with David to help grow “People” services in the interim management practice, which includes Children’s, Adults, Education and Health services across local government. This is an area that I know well and have a strong track record in, and I'll be building on existing relationships and developing new ones across senior leadership. I will also be working closely with Chris in our Search part of the business, maximising on Tile Hill's offer to both candidate and clients.

What will you be bringing to the table?

Over 8 years of recruitment experience in senior appointments across “People” services, three of which were spent at a world leading search firm. Specialising in Social Care for all these years has allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the issues and demands that People services are facing. I am well networked in the sector and have become a trusted advisor to clients and candidates who will call for advice whether it be around a particular service area or career advice.
