Reflecting on Mental Health Awareness Week at Tile Hill
Mental Health Awareness Week at Tile Hill has come to a close, and what an inspiring and enriching week it was! We engaged in a variety of activities aimed at promoting mental well-being, fostering connections, and supporting each other.
The week began with an insightful webinar titled "Boosting Resilience: A Roadmap to Addressing Burnout and Thriving," hosted by TEDx Speaker Andrew Pain. Participants learned valuable strategies to combat burnout and enhance their resilience, setting a positive tone for the week. We then delved into a transformative wellness workshop, hosted by Fora/School of Change, which provided practical techniques to integrate wellness into our daily routines and create a healthier work environment.
One of the week’s highlights was our Bake Sale for Mind on Wednesday, where the community came together to enjoy delicious homemade treats while raising funds for Mind. This event not only satisfied our sweet cravings but also gave us a great opportunity to fundraise for a great cause. On Thursday, the Tile Hill Walk n Talk encouraged colleagues to take breaks from their routines and engage in meaningful conversations. Whether through leisurely walks or thoughtful phone calls, this activity fostered deeper connections and enriched both professional and personal relationships.
This year, Tile Hill is proud that we are fundraising for Mind. Our commitment to supporting mental health goes beyond this dedicated week, and we look forward to organising more events and initiatives to raise awareness and funds for this important cause. Together, we can make a lasting impact and support the invaluable work that Mind does for mental health.
As we move beyond Mental Health Awareness Week, let’s carry forward the lessons and connections we’ve made. Prioritising mental health is an ongoing journey, and by continuing to support each other, we can create a thriving and resilient community at Tile Hill.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this week a memorable and impactful experience. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue to foster a culture of well-being and support.
