Interim Director of Finance and Resources (S151)

We are supporting a District Council with the appointment of an Interim Director of Finance and Resources for an initial six-month period.
This role is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership across the organisation, ensuring robust financial management, governance and effective delivery across a broader resources portfolio.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Provide strategic leadership across finance and resources.
• Lead on financial planning, budget management and financial sustainability.
• Provide high-quality advice to senior officers and elected members.
• Maintain strong financial governance, controls and statutory compliance.
• Manage the full corporate services function
• Support the organisation through a period of change and evolving priorities (LGR).

Contract: 6 months initially
Rate: c. £1,000 per day
