Interim Transitions Programme Manager

We are working with a public sector organisation who is seeking an experienced Transitions Programme Manager to lead the development and delivery of a new Transition Management Unit within their corporate programme office. This pivotal role will oversee the transition and mobilisation of multiple service areas, ensuring a consistent governance framework while adapting to the operational, legal and financial needs of each function. This will shape transition strategy, coordinate complex workstreams, and provide clear leadership across a high‑profile, multi‑disciplinary programme.
  
The successful candidate will bring substantial experience delivering large‑scale transition or transformation programmes within the public sector, alongside strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate in complex or regulated environments. This will manage programme governance, risks, budgets and reporting, while building effective relationships with senior leaders and partners. MSP/PRINCE2 Practitioner status is essential, with additional change or service management qualifications welcomed.
