Helen Alwell is a Senior Consultant at Tile Hill, specialising in executive search for Adult and Children Social Care and Education – with a particular focus on Alternative Delivery Models such as Children’s Trusts. She joined the company from Penna Plc., bringing with her extensive experience of senior-level recruitment within the social care sector to strengthen the Executive Search team offering.

Helen is passionate about helping local authorities to recruit exceptional candidates to support some of the most vulnerable children and adults in society. She finds it fascinating to interact daily with people who want to make a difference to people and communities, and helping candidates to align their vision and values with those of a local authority. She also loves the team ethos of Tile Hill and its highly supportive working environment.

Alongside the company’s wider strategic objectives, Helen hopes to develop and grow the Executive Search practice at Tile Hill, with a particular focus on Social Care.

She’s never happier than when she’s spending time with friends and family, and she used to play football professionally for Birmingham City.
