Head of Legal and Governance (Monitoring Officer)

This is a crucial senior appointment that will shape the council’s approach to facilitating high quality thinking, judgement and decision making to enable highly effective governance and democracy. You will be a trusted legal and governance advisor to elected members, the chief executive, SLT, and wider colleagues. As an ambassador for the council, you will have the opportunity to develop effective relationships on a local, regional, and national level to pave the way for positively changing the lives of people in Norwich.

• Online Psychometric Assessments: Following the shortlist meeting. The deadline for candidates to complete the online psychometric assessments will be 4.00pm on Sunday 9th June.
• Final Panel Interviews (in person): w/c 17th June or w/c 24th June (exact date TBC)
