As a Director at Tile Hill, Greg contributes to the overall business goals, direction and growth of the company, as well as working directly with clients and supporting candidates through recruitment campaigns – and providing leadership of the executive search practice.
Greg studied politics and public policy and has always had an interest in how political vision translates to real outcomes for people. He has been recruiting to the public sector since 2005 with experience across central government, health and predominantly local government. Working at Director, Chief Executive and Board level, he helps candidates to transition between interim, permanent and non-exec careers, as well as working with clients to attract candidates from the commercial sector.
Greg is passionate about supporting candidates with guidance and feedback that enables them to fulfil their ambitions – and enjoys advising clients on the market, candidate pools and partnering with them to design brilliant campaigns. He loves to see colleagues develop professionally and realise their goals, and is particularly proud of the learning culture at the company. Greg also likes to make sure everyone at Tile Hill has fun and enjoys their journey to becoming the leading executive recruitment company for the public sector.
He is happiest outdoors with family, ideally near a barbeque. Fun fact, Eddie ‘the Eagle’ Edwards taught him to ski!
