Growing our Housing Practice: Meet Holly and Jeanette
Over the past few years, the housing sector has faced more change, pressure and expectation than ever before. Regulation, mergers, stock investment, and rising demand, to name but a few, have all added a layer of complexity – making the need for great leadership even clearer.
That’s why I’m genuinely delighted to share that two brilliant people have joined our Housing Practice: Holly Kennedy and Jeanette Eccleston.
Both bring deep experience, real care for the sector, and a genuine commitment to the people behind the work: the residents, teams and leaders who give so much of themselves every day. And that matters, because for us at Tile Hill, it’s never just about filling roles. We really care about working in partnership with organisations to find the leaders who will make a meaningful difference.
Why Holly and Jeanette joining matters
Holly has spent 15 years working with senior and executive leaders across housing associations. She brings a thoughtful, people-first approach to the executive search process, and her belief in the purpose of social housing shines through in every conversation.
“For me, housing has always been about purpose - helping people build better lives through safe, affordable homes. I’m proud to join a business where that same belief underpins every leadership search.”
Jeanette brings over a decade of experience in interim leadership, with a particular strength in helping organisations through change - whether that’s regulatory improvement, service redesign, or navigating the complexities of mergers and transformation.
“Interim leaders are playing a crucial role in transformation, regulation and recovery projects. It’s exciting to join a team that genuinely understands both the market and the human side of leadership.”
Together with Matt Gleeson, our team is now even better placed to support organisations across both short-term challenges and long-term leadership needs.
For housing associations, ALMOs and local authorities, this means more capability, more insight, and more support. For us, it means bringing together a team that shares the same values, the same curiosity and the same belief in public purpose.
A moment of growth, and responsibility
The challenges facing housing providers are not letting up. Budgets are tightening. Expectations are rising. Leaders are operating under increasing scrutiny. And yet, the commitment we see from people across this sector remains extraordinary.
That is why growing our practice responsibly, thoughtfully, and with the right people matters so much. Holly and Jeanette both bring something special. Depth of expertise, yes, but also humility, humour and heart. The kind of people who give you confidence that, whatever pressures the sector is facing, you can trust them to represent your organisation brilliantly and support candidates to show the very best of themselves through a recruitment process.
Our promise
We’ll continue doing what we’ve always done:
- Investing real time in people
So we understand not just what they do, but who they are, what they value and where they can make the biggest impact - Getting under the skin of organisations
Understanding culture, priorities, challenges, succession gaps and future ambition beyond the job description - Being honest about the leadership talent market
Sharing insight, challenge and perspective so clients can plan ahead, set realistic expectations and build sustainable leadership pipelines - Standing alongside leaders at every stage
When they’re exploring a move, when they’re not, when they need a sounding board, and when they need someone in their corner.
And now, with Holly and Jeanette joining us, we have even more depth, more reach and more capacity to support organisations strategically.
We look forward to working with you to attract brilliant people, develop, retain and plan for the leadership you'll need next.
If you’d like to connect with Holly, Jeanette, Matt or myself - or if you’re thinking about leadership needs within your organisation - we’re always here for a conversation.
